In our family's hands since 1992, Herdade das Bernardas is a refuge rooted in the heart of the Alentejo. When we arrived here, little had been built - just a few old structures that told stories of other times. It was in this almost untouched setting that we decided to build our Casa, choosing the most secluded spot close to nature, with an open view over the Alentejo Montado - the most authentic we know.

Today, we open our doors to those looking for peace, quiet and a real opportunity to get away from the pace of the city. Here, time slows down and nature invites you to take a deep breath.

At Herdade das Bernardas, we offer two distinct experiences designed for those seeking tranquillity, comfort and contact with nature.

The Main House, with eight spacious suites, is our latest Bed&Breakfast service, where we rent individually. Each stay includes a delicious buffet breakfast and access to all the common facilities: living rooms, dining room, games room, outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and barbecue - perfect for moments of relaxation and socializing in the heart of the Alentejo.

Monte dos Sovadais is ideal for those who want privacy. Available to rent in its entirety. This cozy house, secluded in the middle of nature, has a relaxing swimming pool, ample and convenient parking and a pleasant outdoor barbecue area. A space designed for friends, family or a getaway for two, with all the freedom that the countryside offers.
